10:00 am – Worship We will praise God in the beautiful setting of CampFriedenswald beginning at 10:00 am in their chapel*. A portion of our worship service will take place on the main beach of the lake as we celebrate with eight young people dedicating their lives to Christ through baptism. Please remember the following youth in your prayers as they anticipate the special day: Derek Christophel, Lauren Dickerson, Ryan Gingrich, Hanna Hochstetler, Claire Holsopple, Jenna Kieper, Kaela Miller, and Nicole Schwartz. Ron will bring the meditation entitled “Come and See”, and grows out of Jesus’ first encounter with Andrew and Simon Peter, with Philip and Nathaniel (John 1:35-51), and with God leading the people in the desert (Numbers 9:15-23).
*The chapel is located past the dining hall down the hill. Golf carts will be provided for those who need assistance getting to the chapel. If you are unable to ride on a golf cart, there are also other options for participating in the worship service. Come join us for this special celebration!

10:30 am – Worship Next Sunday we will focus our worship on the theme of “Labor: Occupation and Vocation.” As Christians we have a vocation, that is, a calling: to follow Christ by loving as he has loved (and as God has loved.) “Occupation”—what we get paid for and what “occupies” our working hours—is not the same as “vocation, calling.” 1 John is a letter that reminds us of the centrality (and difficulty) of our vocation to love. Scriptures for the day that Ron will be using are 1 John 4:13-21, John 15:9-17, Jeremiah 31:3-6, and Psalm 133.
